Faculty Development Opportunities

Our faculty are on a constant pursuit of knowledge. Read below about our resources for faculty development that provide opportunities for mentorship, innovation, and educational scholarship.

Grand Rounds

The goal of the Division of Medicine Grand Rounds series is to understand new developments in medicine and equip clinicians with practical knowledge, skills, and attitudes to care and advocate for a diverse patient population. The series allows for a wide variety of topics with a diverse speaker panel, highlighting the work of our own faculty in DOM and faculty in the College of Medicine, as well as from experts from around the world.

Grand Rounds

Prevention Thursdays and Journal Club

Similar to Grand Rounds, Prevention Thursdays focuses on topics specific to preventative care for chronic conditions. Such topics include obesity management, cervical cancer screenings, and more. Journal Club is a seminar series for faculty to discuss research articles, which count for CME credit.
