Allison W Gallup, PA-C

Allison Wrieden is a board-certified physician assistant (PA) who specializes in internal medicine. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida, after which she pursued her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the highly-regarded Physician Assistant program also at the University of Florida. Her exceptional professional standing is exemplified by her continued representation of UF College of Medicine as a clinical preceptor for the PA school. Throughout her career, Allison has dedicated herself exclusively to the practice of internal medicine, gaining invaluable experience in both inpatient and outpatient care settings.

With a profound commitment to patient-centered care, Allison devotes considerable time and effort to creating treatment plans that align with each patient’s individual beliefs, cultural traditions, and socioeconomic circumstances. Furthermore, she takes immense pride in extending her medical services to the LGBTQIA community. Notably, Allison exhibits a distinctive interest in the management of Type 2 Diabetes, along with a comprehensive approach to addressing the often co-occurring ailments associated with this condition. Her dedication to her patients and to the Division of Internal Medicine was recognized with the “Service Above & Beyond” award for 2022-2023.

In her spare time, Allison and her spouse enjoy exploring and learning about the world through travel. They have swam alongside whales in French Polynesia, gone on safari in Tanzania, and hiked in the Swiss Alps together.
