About L. Chad Hood
L. Chad Hood, MD, FACP, is an assistant professor in the UF Division of General Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Florida and competed his internal medicine residency at the University of South Florida. Dr. Hood’s clinical interests include VA relations, national health care and GME funding and education. He possesses an interest in the standardization and development of sub-internship curriculum including clinical skills evaluations, cross-cover and hand-off training, incorporation of night-shift activities, and simulation-based training of pre-code and code management skills.
