About Meghan M Cequerella

Hi, my name is Meghan Cequerella, and I am a nurse practitioner. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and graduated with my bachelor of science in nursing from Florida International University and master of science in nursing from the University of South Florida. I have nine years of experience as a registered nurse and am currently pursuing my DNP.

I was inspired to become a nurse practitioner because I lost my grandparents at a very young age due to serious health conditions. I was drawn toward internal medicine because it is the foundation of a person’s health. It’s both challenging and rewarding all at the same time.

I am a member of the AANP and completed the Rose Rivers’ Emerging Leader fellowship in December 2022. I have an interest in diabetes, health prevention and maintenance, hypertension and weight loss.

When I’m not working, I love to travel the world and visit new places, with my favorite being the beach. I also enjoy volunteering with the American Heart Association and Habitat for Humanity.
