About Kailey M Catapano-Mamone

Dr. Kailey Catapano-Mamone is a board-certified internal medicine physician specializing in preventive care, women’s health, diabetes management, and hypertension treatment. Originally from South Florida, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Integrative Animal Biology from the University of South Florida before completing her medical degree at St. George’s University. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Florida Atlantic University, where she also served as PGY3 Chief Resident.

During her training, Dr. Catapano-Mamone developed a strong passion for academic medicine and patient education, leading her to join the University of Florida. She is committed to helping patients better understand and manage chronic conditions while emphasizing preventive care and long-term wellness. Her clinical interests include diabetes, essential hypertension, and women’s health, and her research interests include cervical cancer.

Dr. Catapano-Mamone was recognized with the Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award for 2022–2023. Outside of medicine, she enjoys baking, reading, painting, visiting botanical gardens, and spending time with her dogs.
