Sierra H Almengual, PA-C

Sierra Almengual, PA-C, is a Board-certified physician assistant specializing in internal medicine. She completed her undergraduate studies at Auburn University and graduated magna cum laude in health sciences. She completed her medical training at the University of Florida’s School of Physician Assistant Studies.

Sierra has worked in critical care at UF Health Shands Hospital prior to working in the division of internal medicine. She has special interests in working with the LGBTQ patient population, women’s health, and nutrition. She enjoys empowering patients to reach their health goals through shared decision-making. She especially enjoys taking a “deep dive” into the health of patients who have not been established with a primary care provider in many years, and getting their health back on track.

Sierra lives in Gainesville with her fiancé, their dog and their elderly-but-feisty cat.
