The AAMC’s Group on Educational Affairs (GEA) aims to advance medical education through faculty development, educational research, and assessment across the continuum. One of the GEA sections is Medical Education Scholarship, Research, and Evaluation (MESRE), which enhances the quality of research in medical education and promotes its application to educational practice. Each year MESRE solicits nominations for the RIME program planning committee (PPC). the RIME PPC comprises MD, PhD, and EdD researchers who have expertise in medical education research and are recognized leaders in the field.
