The GIM Open House was a great success!

GIM Open HouseThe inaugural Division of General Internal Medicine Open House held on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 was a great success. Attendees enjoyed hot hors d’oeuvres, resident clinical vignette presentations and a faculty panel discussion focused on career opportunities in academic internal medicine.

 

GIM Open House Resident Clinical VignetteDr. Jason Chertoff presented “A Decade of Diarrhea: An Unusual Case of Chronic Diarrhea.” Dr. Haseeb Jabbar presented “A Spider Bit Me.” Dr. Brittany Rogers presented “Treating Resistant Hypertension in the Ambulatory Setting.” The Best Clinical Vignette Award was awarded to Dr. Jabbar.

 

GIM Open House Faculty Panel PresentationDrs. Umna Ashfaq, Ashleigh Wright and Ryan Nall discussed their respective career path and fielded questions focused on the daily life of a general internist including ways to balance careers and personal lives.
