Congratulations to Dr. Margaret Lo who was awarded the 2013 Clinician Educator of the Year Award by the Southern Region of the Society of General Medicine (SGIM)! Dr. Lo was recognized for proven excellence as a teacher of General Internal Medicine through development and evaluation of innovative teaching programs at UF, outstanding ratings by trainees for her teaching ability, consistent service in national and regional SGIM programs, and demonstrated accomplishments in medical education research relevant to General Internal Medicine. Dr. Lo is the first ever recipient from the University of Florida of this highly competitive and prestigious award.
